Our Customer Service Representatives and Project Managers are your personal consultants. Your goals are our goals and we are always available to you during the production process.

Our Estimating Team evaluates specifications and strives to provide the most cost effective solution. We can often provide creative options to your specifications. Complete detailed specifications assist the estimating team's ability to provide insightful alternatives.

Our Job Planning Team is comprised of pre-flighting, job planning, outside purchasing and scheduling. This group evaluates your files, coordinates production and plans jobs for uncompromising quality. Every aspect of every job is evaluated to ensure that the project will be successfully produced.

Prepress

Streamline and improve, the business model used every day at West Wind Litho. What was once workable won’t cut it by our standards.

Picture your project in a clean, all-digital workflow, with every step in the process, from job launch to press production, designed to reduce time and expense. Now, add the CIP-4 technology, which networks digital prepress directly to the press color console, and you have the basis of the West Windo Litho's direct-to-plate system.

• Software support: Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, PageMaker, Photoshop, Illustrator, FreeHand, QuarkXpress, Macromedia and Preps.
  
• Full PDF support and Postscript Level 3.

• In-House Color Specialist: Image scanning, image manipulation, color correction and copy-dot scanning of film.
  
• Digital proofing: Epson Ultrachrome, Kodak Approval and remote proofing via T1 line.

Press Room

West Wind Litho has set a new standard in printing. Our continual investment and improvement have enabled us to attain almost unimaginable levels of creative excellence. We have positioned four new state-of-the-art sheetfed presses to complement our strong assembly of finishing equipment.

Closed-loop color control provides for extreme print precision, our ink lab provides us with the ability to ensure color consistency and the wide range of coating capabilities ensure the absolute highest quality.

• Conventional and UV sheetfed offset printing of one to eight colors in a single pass.

Bindery and Finishing

Our team of finishing professionals trim, diecut, score, fold, bind, assemble and deliver to your specifications.

• Trimming, scoring, perforating and folding.
  
• Saddlestitching, loopstitching and custom binding.
  
• Diecutting up to 40-pt. board, 28” x 40”sheet with in-line stripping
  capabilities.
  
• Automated gluer/folder for pocket folders, sleeves, etc.
  
• Taping, padding, drilling, banding and shrink wrapping.
  
• Hand assembly and other custom finishing.

Mailing and Fulfillment

In addition to printing and finishing, West Wind Litho has an in-house full servicemailing department. The mailing department staff reviews all materials – before they are produced – to assure that the mailing will run efficiently and that the postagerequirements are minimized.
